FIELD: plastic metal working, namely straightening and stretching machines using high efforts for straightening articles of different materials. SUBSTANCE: clamping head includes crossbars and arranged between them wedge chocks with movable wedge members; fastening members mutually joining crossbars and arranged in openings of chocks; intermediate force member joined with chocks and with pulling columns. Said intermediate member is in the form of beams secured to wedge chock by means of tightening members and mutually joined by means of crossbar. Wedge members are multisectional ones; they have separate drive mechanism for each section mounted on crossbar. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, simplified design of head. 2 dwg
