FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: gearbox has triple shaft coaxial reduction gear triple member planetary mechanism and two shifter clutches connected by one shifter rod. Two intercoupled shifter clutches provide operation of triple planetary mechanism at three duties: direct drive, reduction at maximum gear ratio and braked epicyclic gear, and reduction with output shaft rotating in opposite direction at braked carrier. Operating capabilities of vehicle are improved owing to increase in number of forward speeds from seven to eight and backward speeds from one to four. EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to exclusion of operation of planetary at summing up conditions. 2 dwg
