FIELD: shipbuilding and hydraulic machinery engineering. SUBSTANCE: method consists in forming dynamic liquid pressure fluctuation damper by means of flexible envelope; it is made in form of flexible inertial system with varying parameters of fluctuations of flexible envelope volume. Elastic substance is placed in envelope where gas cavity is formed. As soon as liquid pressure fluctuations appear in said flow, forced fluctuations of envelope volume arise in anti-phase relative to liquid pressure fluctuations. Then frequency and amplitude of envelope volume fluctuations are changed till pressure fluctuations initiated by it coincide with them in said flow, thus reducing level of these fluctuations. Device proposed for realization of this method has flexible envelope secured on surface of object in area of liquid pressure fluctuations in said flow. Envelope is filled with substance having cavity which is connected with reservoir by means of pipe line through adjustable throttling member. Said reservoir is connected with compressed gas inlet-outlet system. Provision is made for change of volume and/or pressure of gas contained in reservoir. Such change may be achieved by means of piston or through change of level of liquid inside reservoir. EFFECT: reduced level of vibration and noise. 4 cl, 3 dwg
