FIELD: mining, particularly, means for core drilling. SUBSTANCE: core sampler has multistage unit for control of coring in the form of valve pairs; hole is a movable valve. Valve is located in hole cavity. Tiers of holes are uniformly distributed over length of core receiver to form two rows of holes located diametrically opposite to each other. Valve overlapping holes is made in the form of conical plate whose shank is ended in hemisphere passing into cylinder. Hemisphere diameter is equal to diameter of hole. Valve length exceeds thickness of core receiver wall by value equalling hemisphere radius. Valve is made of antifriction material and provided with stroke limiter, for instance, spring water, and draining channels. Valve pair cavity accommodates pieces of soft flexible material spherical in shape with good compressibility. Valve pair cavities of each tier are filled with material of various color. EFFECT: higher efficiency of core drilling due to receiving reliable information at surface on degree of filling of core receiver with core, and elimination of action of axial mechanical load on core. 1 dwg
