FIELD: microwave engineering; developing direct-circuit magnetrons. SUBSTANCE: magnetron has central cathode with heater, anode unit with power cells, annular magnetic system, case, and energy output system. Newly introduced in device is heater shielding shell that functions as one of capacitor plates and cathode is used as other plate of capacitor with heater disposed in-between. Control signal is applied to capacitor. EFFECT: reduced level of control signal. 1 dwg
