FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to magnetron of forward circuit with internal cathode. Characteristic feature of cathode is its enlarged dimensions so that internal space is free to house heater and iron core of additional magnetic circuit with induction coil fed from controlled power supply source. Magnetron includes external anode and permanent magnets of ring shape so arranged above interaction space that fields of these magnets ( permanent magnet and coil ) sums up. EFFECT: capability of control over magnetic field in interaction gap by adjustment of current in coil, stabilization of output characteristics and compactness of magnetron. 2 dwg
