A TRANSPARENT ANTIPERSPIRANT STICK Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: cosmetology. SUBSTANCE: a cosmetic gel stick contains a liquid carrier, antiperspirant salt diluted in a carrier, dibenzylidene aldite, hydroxyalkylcellulose and/or a chelate component. The suggested stick contains (weight%) 70-95% liquid carrier, 1-22% antiperspirant salt diluted in a carrier, 0.5-3% dibenzylidene aldite, 0.1- 0.5% hydroxyalkylcellulose and 0.05-3% chelate component. A liquid carrier includes a polyatomic alcohol and alkali, such as sodium or potassium hydroxide. The suggested stick has got pH above 4.7, turbidity below 100 NTU and hardness ranged within 60-150. Due to decreasing the content of dibenzylidene aldite it is possible to improve the stick's transparency and flavor. Stick's hardness is maintained due to addition of hydroxyalkylcellulose. Its color is improved as a result of chelate component supplementation. EFFECT: improved properties. 22 cl, 9 ex
