FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutical industry and technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves removal of mechanical pollutions from algae sacchariferous laminaria and their milling. Then laminaria homogenate is poured with 0.1 mole/l of sulfuric acid solution taken in mass-volume ratio raw : acid solution = 1:50 and extracted for 15 h at slow shaking. Then mixture is filtered, filter residue is washed out with water and filtrate is discarded. Remained algae are extracted with 1% sodium carbonate solution in the ratio raw : extracting agent = 1:50 for 12 h at stirring. Then extraction mass is treated with 1% ammonium oxalate solution in the ratio = 1:4 followed by filtration of mixture. Obtained filtrate is dialyzed across cellophane membrane for 24 h, dialyzate is evaporated, mixed with equal volume of 96% ethanol and obtained precipitate is washed out with alcohol and ether followed by its dissolving in water, mixing with equal volume of potassium chloride saturated solution and centrifugation of mixture. Liquid is separated from precipitate and equal volume of alcohol is added to its. Precipitated deposit is dissolved in water again and precipitated with alcohol once more. Precipitate is suspended in water and mixed with solution containing magnesium (II) sulfate (0.09 mole/l) and potassium chloride (0.09 mole/l) in the volume ratio suspension : saline solution = 2:1. After centrifugation of mixture supernatant is separated from precipitate, precipitate is washed out with water, precipitated with equal volume of alcohol and suspended in water. Then the following reagents are added to suspension: EDTA 0.1 mole/l solution in volume ratio = 3:1, sodium carbonate 1% solution in volume ratio = 10: 1 and sodium hydrocarbonate 1% solution in volume ratio = 10:1. After complete precipitate dissolution alginate is precipitated again with equal volume of alcohol, washed out with alcohol and ether and dried. EFFECT: enhanced purity, increased yield of end product. 10 tbl, 2 dwg
