FIELD: fire-fighting equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has discharge nozzles, slide valve, cup, and vacuum pump. Apparatus allows wide coverage of fire zone to be provided by replacement of water from cup by means of pressurized air through openings defined by nozzles. New portion of water is drawn from basin by automatic controlling of slide valve, which hermetically opens and closes discharge nozzles. Water intake is intensified through the usage of vacuum pump, which facilitates suction of air from cup. Such construction allows vast areas to be covered with sprayed water during flight of helicopter above fire zone. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
