FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, particularly, production of ferromanganese alloys from high-phosphorus manganiferous ores, particularly, concretions. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of charge, loading of charge into electric furnace, melting, holding of melts and tapping of heat products. Charge is melted at temperature of 1500-1650 C with maintaining ratio of iron oxides and phosphorus oxides to carbon within 0.4-0.95 of shoichiometric value. Hydrocarbon-containing component in charge is used in the form of liquid hydrocarbons, for instance, oil. EFFECT: simplified production technology of conversion manganese slag, increased quality of slag, and reduced losses of manganese with associated alloy. 2 cl
