FIELD: oil producing industry, particularly, development of drowned oil deposits with the help of vibration sources. SUBSTANCE: method includes determination of location of one or more drowned sections with fixed oil phase on watered oil deposit drilled-in at least by one injection and one producing wells; construction of beam pattern diagram of vibration source radiation of transverse wave and determination on said diagram of regions of maximum amplitudes of transverse waves. Seismic vibration source is installed so that boundary of deposit water-encroached section with fixed oil phase and perforated interval of operating well are simultaneously found in region of transverse wave maximum amplitudes. Seismic stimulation is carried out up to irreversible changes of natural electric potential, or section pore pressure, or jumpwise changes of its relative phase permeability. EFFECT: increased oil recovery due to changes of wettability parameters of oil-water-saturated beds in field of transverse seismic waves. 4 dwg
