FIELD: military installations, protection of troops on combat positions. SUBSTANCE: fortification to fire grenade launcher has trench, front and rear breastworks, is fitted with gear for mounting of grenade launcher in the form of location beam with fixing members placed transverse to trench, above platform, device to protect shooter coming in the form of anchor sleepers with bracings placed on platform on both sides of trench, bearing sleeper at point of transit of platform to slope of trench, protective wall with dusting, cantilever- type shed erected on front breastwork above trench and anchored with bracings to anchor sleepers and to protective wall, protective wall with dusting arranged in lower part of embrasure, protective wall. Cantilever-type shed includes protective layer and fixing members and rests against supporting beams laid on front breastwork. Side walls with spread frames and ceiling close embrasure. Width of break in protective wall in which embrasure closes amounts to 0.6-0.9 width of trench and bearing sleeper is mounted flush with platform. Its length on each side of trench amounts to 0.5 width of trench. Protective-camouflaging layer of shed is made of soil-and-vegetable layer of local ground with thickness securing full protection against bullets and fragments and horizon line is at same level as horizon line of breastwork. Anchor sleepers are laid along edge of trench at distance equal to 0.5-1.0 width of trench and ends of sleepers are positioned on one level with start of trench. In addition fortification to fire grenade launcher is equipped with fastening members securing joint work of protective layer and supporting beams.
