FIELD: tobacco industry products. SUBSTANCE: cigarette has casing comprising paper layer impregnated with water-repelling cellulose derivative, in particular, ethyl cellulose applied in several layers in an amount of from 1 g/sq.cm. Cellulose derivative may be applied onto both sides of paper by means of roll commonly used for coating by gravure printing method. Such structure reduces formation of spots on cigarette casing at air-permeability of 20-50 units by CORESTA standard. EFFECT: simplified structure and improved quality of cigarette. 4 cl
