FIELD: production of clothing for protecting individual from reactive gases and elevated temperatures. SUBSTANCE: composite material comprises inner layer of fiber glass impregnated with thermally stable rubber solution and outer layer of polyimide or polyethylene terephthalate film with sprayed heat-reflective aluminum coat. Outer layer is connected to inner layer through thermally stable rubber glue layer. Intermediate layer is formed of aluminum or steel foil joined to outer layer by means of thermally stable rubber glue. Composite material provides high extent of protection from intensive thermal effects and reactive substances. EFFECT: increased reflective capacity, improved mechanical strength and enhanced reliability in use. 1 tbl, 6 ex
