FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: polyfunctional light-weight rubberised protective material consists of a polymer composition which includes chlorosulphonated polyethylene, chlorobutyl rubber and ethylene-propylene diene rubber, a group of antipyrenes, mineral filler material, a vulcanising group and pigment solvents. The material contains a textile base - noncombustible plain weave glass cloth, which is non-edged and made from high strength glass fibre with mass 1 m2 - 80-120 g. The polyfunctional light-weight rubberised protective material is prepared by saturating glass cloth on a vertical saturation-drying machine, where content of the rubber mixture per 1 m2 of the material is equal to 100-120 g. The combination of chlorinated high-molecular compounds in the polymer composition and group of antipyrenes in the composition - decabromodiphenyl oxide, ammonium polyphosphate, and aluminium hydroxide ensures resistance of the material to heat ageing, protection from high temperatures and the effect of a naked frame.
EFFECT: light-weight rubberised material has protective properties from highly concentrated toxic vapour of ammonia, chlorine and hydrogen sulphide for more than 24 hours.
