SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a multilayer insulating material with a barrier layer having universal protective properties, intended for the manufacture of protective clothing against a liquid phase, vapors and toxic gases, including highly toxic, aggressive, oxidizing chemicals, oil products, from exposure to open flames and thermal flows, including a modification of an insulating material, which is a polyamide or polyester fabric or mixed cotton-polyamide or cotton-polyester fabrics with a layer based on butil rubber or butil rubber with synthetic rubber triple ethylene propylene (SRTEP) applied on one or both sides, consisting in sequential application on the upper side of the insulating material of an adhesive based on polychloroprene rubber (PCP), lamination with a film followed by the application of a polymer layer from a composition based on chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSPE) and PCP in a mass ratio of 75-85: 15-25 and a polymer layer from the composition based on CSPE and PCP in a mass ratio of 75-85: 15-25, including aluminum powder, and further vulcanization at a temperature of 120-140 °C.

EFFECT: technical result is to ensure a universal nature and versatility of the material with a reduced surface density, at the same time having high protective properties against various chemical products, open flames, heat flows, and resistant to abrasion.
