FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, in particular, to press equipment. The press comprises a frame with a slider being placed in its guides and actuated by four screw spindles. Gear pinions rotated by a rack are fixed at the screw spindles' brackets. The rack is made as a slider of a crank-slide mechanism.. The crank of the said mechanism is rotated via a tooth gear and controlled friction disk clutch from a flywheel constantly rotating together with the electric motor. The result is rigid kinematic connection of the actuating unit and the drive, thanks to which the slider movement is of cyclic nature and the slider has fixed extreme working position.
EFFECT: press allows for the performance of all types of stamping and elastoplastic breakup operations, including sheet stamping, it is open for automation and can be used in stamping lines with a common dosing system.
