FIELD: telecommunication systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed air interface has variable number of NPILOT, bits, NTPC bits, and NTFCl bits and in particular number of mentioned bits during active or passive telecommunications between mobile or stationary transceiving devices of telecommunication system adaptively variable or optimized due to control facilities of appropriate level 2 or, respectively, level 3 signaling made through dedicated physical data channel (DPDCH). Air interface may be found useful for improving efficiency or capacity of physical channels in telecommunication systems with wireless communication between mobile and/or stationary transceiving devices depending on channel data transmission speed, system environment, system loading, and distance between transceiving devices so that no changes in circuit arrangement or mechanical design is required in transmitter and/or receiver.
