FIELD: radio communications; time/code-division multiple access radio communication systems and their mobile and base station. SUBSTANCE: proposed TDMA/CDMA radio communication system provides for frequency channels organized by channel intervals and broadband frequency ranges capable of simultaneous transmission of data on plurality of connections, these data on different connections being recognized according to thin structure individual for each connection. Novelty is that mobile stations are assigned repetitive top-down time synchronization channels for transmitting character sequences. Mobile station to be synchronized determines estimated values out of signals received for character sequences and compares these estimated values with reference sequence. In this way phase drift of estimated values relative to reference sequence can be calculated. Frequency drift is found from this phase drift and used for time synchronization. EFFECT: reduced requirement of radio resources. 10 cl, 4 dwg
