FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves transforming spectral composition of light radiation to increase color discrimination. Light radiation is reduced in two spectral bands by applying photofilter device having light absorption band usable for increasing color discrimination in yellow-orange tint area in the long shoulder bandwidth of green luminescent solid layer of cathode tube to reduce screen radiation and color spectrum to green base light and another light absorption band usable for increasing color discrimination in blue-green tint area in the absorption area of yellow retina spot. Contact lens, spectacles lens, sheet color filter are used as the photofilter device. Method for producing photofilter devices involves coloring polymer base with organic stain solutions.
