SUBSTANCE: artificial eye lens comprising an ultraviolet absorbing lens and changing the following transmission spectrum: 400 nm - from 2.5 to 0.6% 420 nm from 30 to 15% 440 nm from 50 to 32% 460 nm from 70 to 49% 480 nm from 87 to 58% 500 nm from 94 to 66% 520 nm from 97 to 85% 540 nm from 97 to 90% The lens is made of a material containing polymethylmethacrylate, ultraviolet absorber, plasticizer, colorant N-butyl-4-oxy-3-aso(3'-nitrophenyl) quinolone in the following proportions of components, wt.-% ultraviolet absorber and 2-(2'-hydroxi-3-tert. butyl-5'-methylphenylate)- -5-chlorobenzotriasol, 0.1-2.5; colorant, 0.09-0.18; dibutylphthalate, 4.8-5.0; polymethylmethacrylate, the balance.
