METHOD OF TAILING DUMP WORKING Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: mining, particularly, working of tailing dumps of concentrating mills. SUBSTANCE: method includes working of tailings by excavator and their transportation to concentrating mill. District of tailing dump with standard content of useful components is preliminarily outlined and divided into stopes. Fencing sinking lining is installed over length of stopes and selective excavation of sand within stopes is performed. In so doing, substandard sands are transferred by excavator to adjacent worked out top and standard sands are loaded into dump truck and transported to concentrating mill. EFFECT: reduced impoverishment of sands and expenditures for useful components recovery. 2 dwg
