FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: method of operation of combination gas turbine plant comes to generating mechanical or electric energy in turbine-driven gas expansion machine at expansion of high-pressure low-temperature natural gas and generation of mechanical or electric energy by means of gas turbine engine. Low temperature natural gas is used as heat receiver, and recovery of heat of gas turbine engine exhaust gases is provided by heating of working medium of heat engine operating to Brayton cycle with closed circulation circuit in head exchanger by changing mass flow rate of working medium by means of meters, make-up compressor and low-and high-pressure service cylinders containing reserve to working medium. Working medium of heat engine is compressed in multistage compressor, is expanded in turbine and is cooled by low-temperature natural gas after turbine-driven gas expansion machine in low-temperature heat exchanger. Invention makes it possible to reduce fuel consumption of combination gas turbine plant and reduce harmful effluents into atmosphere.
