FIELD: construction industry. SUBSTANCE: water flow forming unit has coupling comprising cylinder with two axially aligned openings, stepped branch pipe and movable threaded branch pipe arranged in opposed and coaxial relation to cylinder. Stepped and threaded branch pipes are arranged in spaced relation so as to define through gap for receiving flow containing pulp into enclosed conical space between said branch pipes. Threaded surface of movable branch pipe is adapted for feeding movable branch pipe over threaded opening so as to regulate enclosed conical space providing for formation of conical liquid flow. Such construction presupposes high extent of selectivity of dispersions and grades of natural shelf pumped through unit for forming of liquid flow. Unit is used in construction and mounting works in underwater shelves of seas and other water basins. EFFECT: simplified construction, enhanced reliability in operation, selectivity of gap space, which may be adjusted for designed pressure and for research of pulp flow and its influence upon pipeline wear-resistance under stationary conditions. 1 dwg
