FIELD: apparatuses for demounting pressed-in articles, for example gear wheels pressed onto end of shaft of traction electric motor of electric locomotive. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes carriage mounted in guides on stationary foundation; mounted on carriage gripping organ in the form of two C-shaped braces movably mounted by means of hydraulic cylinders; power hydraulic drive rigidly joined with gripping organ and designed for removing pressed-in article; additional damping cylinder jointly connected by its rod with carriage and by its body - with stationary foundation. C-shaped braces of gripping organ are mounted by their ends in horizontal guides of frame and each is secured by its mean portion to rod of separate hydraulic cylinder horizontally mounted on frame. Additional damping cylinder is arranged lower than carriage in vertical symmetry plane in parallel relative to horizontal lengthwise axis of power hydraulic drive. Table mounted on stationary foundation has lodgment for fastening demounted article coaxially relative to power hydraulic drive. Said table is driven to rotation by means of rotation mechanism joined with it.
