FIELD: transport engineering; automobile accessories. SUBSTANCE: proposed floor mat has rubber base in form of pan, upper moisture penetrable covering with slots and replaceable insert made of moisture absorbing material connected with rubber base over perimeter. Mat is provided with additional moisture absorbing insert installed on rear side of mat. Rubber base is provided with central projection located under place of contact with shoes of driver or passenger from outer and rear side projecting over additional moisture absorbing insert and tennons uniformly spaced over rear side of mat and fitted in corresponding holes of moisture absorbing insert to provide its crease resistance. Slot is made over perimeter of floor mat in which sealing cord is placed to secured corrugated moisture penetrable covering and providing sealed connection with moisture penetrable covering, and replaceable inserts made of moisture absorbing material are connected on mat by means of adhesive strips. EFFECT: improved protection of car interior from accumulated moisture, prevention of rusting of car body, improved microclimate and sanitary conditions in car interior. 2 cl, 12 dwg
