FIELD: packing facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to covers fitted on by pressing and removed by turning off. Proposed container 12 comprises neck 11 with multistart thread with alternating crests 25 and grooves 26. Cover 10 includes mainly round upper part 13 and skirt 14. the latter is provided with projections 21 located circumferentially at distance from each other corresponding to space between thread grooves 26. When cover 10 is being fitted on neck 11 of container 12 each projection 21 gets into one of cavities 27 formed on neck 11. Beveled element 29 is formed close to each cavity 27. With cover 10 rotated, at least some beveled elements 29 are directed into threaded grooves 26 by their beveled surfaces to provide turning cover 10 off neck 11 of container 12.
