SUBSTANCE: lubricating oil polyvinyl ether compound containing reiterating motif depicted by general formula I: (I) or polyvinyl ether compound containing reiterating motif I and reiterating motif I': (I'), where R represents hydrocarbon group containing 1-3 carbon atoms and optionally ether bond, R' represents hydrocarbon group containing 3-20 carbon atoms and optionally ether bond, which differs from R by being principal component. Cooling agent is a mixed one consisting of (i) difluoromethane and pentafluoroethane, weight ratio 50: 50; or (ii) difluoromethane and pentafluoroethane, 45:55; or (iii) pentafluoroethane, 1,1,1-trifluoroethane, and 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane, 44:52: 4; or (iv) pentafluoroethane and 1,1,1-trifluoroethane, 50:50. Cooling apparatus comprises cooling circuit including at least one compressor, condenser, discharge mechanism, and evaporator and uses lubricating oil (polyvinyl ether compound) and cooling agent described above.
