FIELD: household and industrial gas appliances. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for protection of gas supply systems in case of emergency by cutting off gas supply at fire. Proposed valve contains housing accommodating shutoff member in form of ball arranged in space of housing opposite to through hole. Shutoff member is loaded by spring and is furnished with stop and lock. The latter hold shutoff member in initial position with eccentricity relative to axis of through hole. Lock is driven into through hole of housing, is secured in housing and is provided with blind axial bore. Axial bore accommodates heat sensitive bulb thrusting against bottom of bore at one side and surface of auxiliary rod at other side. Free flat end face of auxiliary rod projecting from bore is brought in contact with ball. Free end face of lock is brought out beyond outer of housing. Bottom of said bore is arranged in this part of lock. Invention provides operation of safety valve in case of temperature rise owing to use of heat sensitive bulb which is installed partially out of housing. EFFECT: improved reliability and accuracy of operation of safety valve. 2 cl, 5 dwg
