FIELD: electric engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying electric spark action upon fitting sections. Sections fitting direction selection in resistance-growing or resistance-dropping direction and degree of sections resistance change are selected in dependence on gage characteristic under adjustment measured in advance. Adjustment in resistance-growing direction is carried out with electric spark discharge under discharge pulsations succession frequency being equal to 10-20 kHz and electrode-resistor distance being equal to 0.5-1 mm large. Adjustment in resistance-dropping direction is carried out with electric spark discharge characterized by discharge pulsations succession frequency being equal to 3-5 kHz and electrode-resistor distance being equal to 2-4 mm large. EFFECT: increased good quality gages output. 4 dwg, 1 tbl
