FIELD: kitchen utensils. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has outer and inner casings defining hermetically sealed space for working liquid between their walls. Safety control valve with control scale is positioned on upper part of outer casing. Annular wick is tightly attached to outer casing inside hermetically sealed space. Cover is positioned inside inner casing. Viewing control window with movable shield is formed on cover and adapted for controlling process temperature. Such construction allows uniform heating of food product on all sides to be provided, food preparing temperature to be regulated by opening and closing of window in cover, quick heating to be enabled, and food to be prevented from burning. EFFECT: increased efficiency by eliminating heat losses through outer vertical wall, improved quality of food, wider range of food preparing processes. 3 cl, 3 dwg
