Abstract RU 2200045 C1

FIELD: decontamination of chemical warfare agents; decontamination of inner surfaces of ammunition from residue of organophosphorous warfare agents, such as sarin and soman. SUBSTANCE: inner surface of ammunition is treated with reagent composition containing strong proton- donor compounds, organic components for softening the shellac coat and water used as solvent. It is recommended to use aqueous solution of 10% of oxyethylene diphosphonic acid, 90% of ammonium dihydrophosphate and catalytic quantities (0.01-0.1%) of anion-active or nonionogenous surfactants, such as sulfanole and proxanol. Use of fireproof composition makes it possible to separate protective shellac coat of ammunition and solubilizing contaminants sorbed in it which are neutralized to concentration not exceeding 1•10-5 due to acid hydrolysis.
