FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of chemical weapons. Method of destruction of chemical ammunition equipped with phosphoro-organic chemical agents (PCA) and having technological threaded hole, which is sealed hermetically with threaded plug, includes unsealing of ammunition, introduction into ammunition of reagent for PCA detoxification, hermetical ammunition sealing and storing ammunition for PCA decomposition. At the stage of ammunition unsealing not less than two blind holes for specially made pin wrench are drilled in threaded plug of ammunition and threaded plug is unscrewed using made holes. Reagent for PCA detoxification is introduced into ammunition through technological hole, in volume, which contains amount of water sufficient for complete destruction of PCA. Hermetic sealing of ammunition is carried out by closing technological hole with threaded plug. Ammunition is stored during time sufficient to reach residual content of PCA not greater than 0.1 wt %. For CA detoxification, as reagent, solutions of orthophosphoric acid or ethanolamine solution, containing additives, are suggested, also determined is volume ratio of reagent and PCA .
EFFECT: invention is aimed to increase safety of chemical ammunition destruction.
