FIELD: lifesaving appliances. SUBSTANCE: proposed appliance is made in form of chamber which is connected to sunken ship provided with upper hatch whose neck is made in form of sectional tube column whose upper part is above water level together with hatch; winch for hoisting people and rescuers is arranged inside neck. Pressure of breathing mixture in chamber and in all spaces connected with it is maintained at such level that level of water in flooded rooms remains constant, thus ensuring continuous hoisting of people irrespective of their number to upper hatch of chamber through which they are transferred to decompression chamber for subsequent adaptation to normal atmospheric pressure to avoid caisson disease without necessity of repeated connection and disconnection of chamber to and from sunken ship if number of people exceeds specified capacity of chamber.
