FIELD: rocketry and space engineering; construction of separable compartments and their members. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has pushers and guide slots mounted smoothly at angular pitch on inner surface of separable adapter compartment along its longitudinal axis. Mounted on structural members of separable adapter compartment (payload) located inside compartment are roller supports equipped with flexible shock absorbers. Rollers of supports are mounted in way of swinging along slots. Height of guide slots above inner surface of compartment exceeds height of inner primary structure above this surface. Mounted on inner side of each slot is at least one bead oriented towards roller support. Height of bead does not exceed radius of roller support. In the course of separation, slots and roller support limit relative motion of adapter compartment and space object. Proposed device ensures increase of fraction of mass of payload due to use of continuous adapter compartment. EFFECT: enhanced reliability; low cost of injection of payload into orbit. 2 dwg
