FIELD: systems for separation of rocket pod compartments in injection of space objects into orbit. SUBSTANCE: proposed device is intended for compartment consisting of two flaps separable over longitudinal and transversal joints. Each flap is provided with two units for turn of flap which are mounted on rocket pod above transversal joint. Said units are provided with guide and limit members for releasing the flap from pod in case of inclination from longitudinal axis of pod through definite angle. At the end of injection, commands for opening the said longitudinal and transversal joints are formed and pulse of separation in way of longitudinal axis of rocket pod is imparted to flaps. Command for opening the longitudinal joint is formed before command for opening the transversal joint. After nominal thrust of rocket pod engine has been achieved, pulse of separation over longitudinal axis of rocket pod is imparted to flaps. Under action of engine thrust and inertia forces, flaps rotate in turn unit. After designed angle of opening of flap has been obtained, maximum component of relative lateral velocity is attained and coupling with rocket pod is released. Proposed method ensures required rate of separation of flaps without special equipment. EFFECT: increased mass of payload; low cost of manufacture of tail compartment. 3 cl, 2 dwg
