FIELD: nuclear fuels technology. SUBSTANCE: plutonium- gallium alloy is dissolved as anode by electrolysis of 3- 20% ammonium chloride solution. As alloy dissolves, plutonium hydroxide simultaneously precipitates. Precipitate is separated from gallium-containing solution. Gallium is precipitated by decomposition of ammonium hydroxide. Ammonium chloride solution thus obtained is further used for dissolving alloy. EFFECT: simplified process, reduced plutonium losses, and enabled wasteless technology. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl, 2 ex
