FIELD: thermal engineering; thermal transformers. SUBSTANCE: heat pump that has one tank with heat-transfer apparatus wherein working medium is compressed and other tank with heat-transfer apparatus wherein working medium is expanded; it accommodates heat- transfer circuit with medium being cooled and with heat-transfer apparatus, heat-transfer circuit with medium being heated and with heat- transfer apparatus, and also heat-pump control unit, pressure build-up unit for tanks holding working medium, and heat flux control unit. Heat- transfer apparatuses mounted in tanks communicate with heat-transfer apparatus of circuit handling medium being cooled and with that of circuit carrying medium being heated; they are also intercommunicating by means of heat-flux control unity whose inlet is connected to outlet of heat-pump control unit, other outlet of the latter being connected to inlet of pressure build-up unit; one inlet of the latter communicates with one working-medium tank and other one, with other tank Heat-pump control unit inlets communicate with heat-flux control units for building up pressure within tanks and with working-medium tanks. EFFECT: enhanced heating coefficient of heat pump which may be used at subzero temperatures of medium being cooled. 6 dwg, 2 tbl
