FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to centralized heat and cold supply with accumulation of low-potential heat. Method of heat and cold supply includes heat accumulation in heat energy accumulator with accumulating medium consisting of liquid and crystallized phases, extraction of heat from liquid phase and transformation of extracted heat into consumed heat by heat pumps, transfer of heat to consumers, supply of liquid phase from accumulator to cold consumers as returned coolant. Heat extraction from liquid phase by heat pumps is performed so that during the whole period of operation the accumulator constantly contains crystallized phase in amount, not less than required to obtain temperature of liquid phase at outlet of accumulator, close to melting temperature of crystallized phase. Low-temperature liquid phase from the accumulator is used as a returned heat-receiving medium for removal of heat from refrigerating machines, heat generated by heat pumps is supplied to heat consumers, and heat not required for current consumption is transferred to a heat accumulator.
EFFECT: improving energy efficiency, reducing power consumption for heat and cold production.
