FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves excising 2/3 of the stomach. The lesser curvature is sutured with ligature holder in the gastric angle area. The terminal blood vessels are parietally ligated on the greater curvature 1.5 cm proximal with respect to pyloric sphincter. The greater curvature of the stomach is mobilized to the level of the third distal branch of the ligature holder to the subcardial stomach area. The lesser curvature is pulled to the right and upward with the ligature holder. Clamps are applied in the ligature holder direction from the initial point of mobilization of the suprapyloric area of the greater curvature of the stomach. The stomach is transected between the clamps so that distal and proximal stump widths are to be equal to each other. Oblique gastrogastric suprapyloric anastomosis is created. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in restoring normal food passage. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
