FIELD: bottle manufacture. SUBSTANCE: sectional machine for converting liquid glass drops into bottles has multiplicity of individual sections arranged adjacent to one another. Each section has blank form opening and closing mechanism disposed at blank forming site, blowing form opening and closing mechanism disposed at site where blank is blown to produce bottle, and neck ring tilting and holding mechanism arranged between said mechanisms and adapted for moving blank between said mechanisms. Blank displacement direction defines blank feeding direction. Neck ring tilting and holding mechanism has pair of opposite neck holders, horizontal cylindrical device with opposite ends for moving neck ring holders from separated position to closed position, vertical supports arranged in spaced relation with respect to one another and adapted for supporting opposite ends of cylindrical device, and device adapted for rotating neck ring holders through 180 deg and comprising drive shaft located inside vertical casing. Each of form opening and closing mechanisms has pair of opposite form supporting devices and unit for supporting opposite form supporting mechanisms during linear displacement in direction transverse to feeding direction between retracted position and extended position. Said unit has first supporting means positioned at one end of section and adapted for supporting one end of each of pair of form supporting mechanisms, second supporting means arranged at other end of section and adapted for supporting one end of each of pair of form supporting mechanisms, first shaft arranged between spaced vertical supports of neck ring tilting and holding mechanism and adapted for supporting other end of pair of form supporting mechanisms, and second shaft for supporting other end of pair of form supporting mechanisms. Second shaft has first part positioned between one of spaced apart vertical supports and vertical casing and second part positioned between other vertical support and vertical casing.
