FIELD: sectional machine equipment for two-staged manufacture of glass bottles from liquid glass drops. SUBSTANCE: mold opening and closing mechanism has pair of opposite mold supporting mechanisms adapted for supporting at least one opposite pair of half-molds. Each of supporting mechanism has yoke with first opening extending in vertical plane through it and second opening extending in horizontal plane through it, insert adapted for carrying at least one half-mold and provided with opening extending in vertical plane through it, and carrier for supporting insert. Insert carrier has slot for receiving yoke and aperture extending vertically through it, device adapted for attachment of insert and yoke on carrier and comprising first pin sliding through insert aperture, carrier opening and first opening in yoke, and second pin extending through second opening in yoke. Mold opening and closing mechanism comprises device for moving each of mold supporting mechanisms between extended and retracted position. Said device has drive mechanism with outlet and transfer mechanism for connecting said outlet to second pin. Mold opening and closing mechanism allows holder to be isolated from torque force.
