FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composites used for preparing covers made of electrotechnical steel for magnetic circuits of electric machines and devices. The composite comprises ortho-phosphoric acid, magnesium oxide, aluminium hydroxide, boric acid, water and stabilized acryl dispersion. The combination of components taken in the definite ratio ensures to obtain covers with enhanced water resistance and moisture resistance at high temperatures with retention of its high physical-chemical properties, in part, magnetic indices.
