PROTECTIVE LUBRICANT FOR METALLIC ARTICLES Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: lubricating materials. SUBSTANCE: lubricating composition comprises the following components, wt.%: depleted motor oil, 20.0-40.0; saponified tall pitch, 1.5-4.5; lime paste, 0.2-0.6; water, the balance. The application of said lubricant ensures to exclude corrosion of agriculture machines at storage in open sites and application of depleted automobile and tractor motor oil ensures to use their instead high-expensive petroleum-base lubricants. The proposed lubricant is used as protective coating of metallic articles, in part, at storage of agriculture machines in open sites and to utilize depleted motor oils of automobile and tractor engines. EFFECT: enhanced anticorrosion resistance of metallic articles of agriculture machines, utilization of depleted automobile and tractor motor oils. 2 tbl
