FIELD: pulp-and-paper industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing mounted on shock-absorbing members pivotally connected to hollow rotor put onto drive shaft provided with unbalancing device. Part of drive shaft is located in rotor cavity. Unbalancing device is fixed on upper end of drive shaft extending through rotor end. Unbalancing device has spring-loaded stem contacting with shank on engine shaft and equipped with spring precompression regulator. Lower end of drive shaft is placed in cavity of rotor having shank connected to movable part of pivot joint. EFFECT: reduced tangential loading at junction site of movable and immovable parts of pivot joint due to reduced rotational frequency of movable part and eliminated connection between movable part and unbalancing device and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
