FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device intended for locking the frame has cover which may be locked on frame by means of key and lock rigidly secured to cover. Locking device has bush and lever on whose end bush is fitted; cover has hatch for introducing the key to lock which is provided with gate engageable with slot of frame and key which takes selective locking position relative to hatch; gate is held in locked position by means of slot; device has one unlocking position in which key is held immovably in hatch and gate is brought out of slot. Novelty of invention consists in position of lever and bush which are practically perpendicular relative to each other and position of lever in unlocked position when it is perpendicular to cover. Proposed device excludes difficulty in raising heavy covers. EFFECT: avoidance of unauthorized opening of cover. 11 cl, 12 dwg
