FIELD: underwater acoustics, automatic focusing and concentration of acoustic energy in specified point of space. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention lies in increase of efficiency and stability of reversal of wave front of acoustic wave on bubble layer. Bubble layer is inserted with this in mind in front of radiator of pumping wave, is irradiated with high-power flat pumping wave normally incident to layer and with weak spherical signal wave incident at angle to layer. Focused signal wave reversed by bubble layer is received and recorded. Layer of boundary monoradius bubbles which dimensions are resonant to frequency of pumping wave, formed on surface of current-conducting and sound-conducting plate by way of electrolysis is used in the capacity of bubble layer.
