FIELD: medicine, pharmacology, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes oxacarbazepine-containing compositions as tablets with film coating and method of preparing such compositions. Tablets with film coating comprise tablet core including therapeutically effective dose of oxacarbazepine in finely ground form with mean particles size from 4 to 12 mcm (average value) and hydrophilic, permeable external coating. Compositions are easily treated in preparing dosed forms that can enhance biological availability of oxacarbazepine and exhibit improved compatibility.
