FIELD: concentration of minerals; extraction of non-ferrous, noble and rare-earth metals from gravel deposits (primary gravels and/or technogeneous formations - tailings). SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes multi-stage disintegration, classification and magnetic separation effected on naturally frozen starting material on open production sites under conditions of negative temperatures and additional electrical separation of rough concentrate. Proposed method makes it possible to organize year-round cycle of extraction. EFFECT: reduced power requirements; reduced consumption of water. 2 tbl
