FIELD: timber industry and forestry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment of logging machines used for collecting and transportation of timber with simultaneous sorting according to size and quality or species. Guide uprights are made separate, being spaced in height of base. Drive of upright is made in form of cable-and-block system set into action, for instance, by one hydraulic cylinder installed by end on base in height between guide uprights. One cable length of drive secured by one end on upright between its guides from side of hydraulic cylinder rod is passed through movable block installed on hydraulic cylinder rod and is secured by other end on base from side is hydraulic cylinder housing. Other cable length of drive, on end of which is secured on upright from side of hydraulic cylinder housing, is passed in succession through fixed blocks installed on base from side of housing and rod of hydraulic cylinder, through movable block installed on rod, and is secured on base from side of hydraulic cylinder rod. Axle of movable blocks is fitted in base guides found between guides of upright. Guides of upright are made lengthwise the base between side uprights. Upright is installed for movement lengthwise the guides. Side uprights are installed for turning around their axle through angle exceeding 180^°. Such design of logger bank makes it possible to provide effective sorting of timber according to size and quality and species both, on cutting area, when collecting the pack, and at upper stores, when unloading the pack, it provides also possibility of unloading the pack by movement of logger or upright at one or different places.
